1. REQUIREMENTS FOR DRIVER
– The driver must have at least 21 years old.
– The driver must have national or international driving license issued at least one year before rental date.
– The driving license must be adequate with the vehicle category that will be rented.
– The person who will rent the car must be present at the time and place of rental and to show the driving licence to the rental company representative.
2. ADDITIONAL FEES
– During winter are situations when the chains are very helpful. If you choose to rent snow chains they should be used for short distances with low speeds and only on roads covered with snow. Inappropriate use of snow chains can destroy the tires. Snow chains rental cost 10 €/rental period.
– We offer for rent also child seat at the price of 15 €/rental period.
– If the client loses the keys and/or documents, will pay an additional fee.
– Additional driver that will drive the car can be any person other than the main driver who rented it.
– Even if you rent a car, but never drive it you are considered the main driver of the rented vehicle.
– Additional driver must have the approval of the rental company to drive the car.
– He/she must complete and sign an office lease provided by the rental company.
3. DEPOSIT
– At the beginning of the rental period a security deposit is requested from the client.
– The deposit is refunded after verification of the body and the technical condition of the car.
– For vehicle damage suffered by client’s fault, additional drivers or unknown author, the company will retain the deposit partially or totally depending on the amount of damage.
– In case the deposit is the franchise for damages, the deposit will be retained entirely, because the responsibility is fully of the customer in case of accident.
4. TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
– Customer is responsible for respecting traffic regulations, including the payment of parking fees or other fees.
– Police send a document to the rental company requesting information about the driver who violated the law road driving the rented car at a certain date and time.
– Rental company send the police the lease contract with customer’s data and the police send the customer fine.
5. IN CASE OF ACCIDENT
– In case of accident it is required to be reported to police; will scertain the damages and will issue a statement of the facts and the Repair Authorization.
– These documents are necessary for the insurance and vehicle repair.
– Report to the police is mandatory in all cases: if you are guilty, you are the victim, you are involved alone or the responsible party is unknown (parking damages in your absence etc.).
– Without these documents the customer is responsible for all costs of repair.
– If the client is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or not recommended medicines, the responsibility of payment in case of accident lies entirely.
– In case of an accident the client must immediately notify the rental company about it.
6. RENT ABROAD
– As a general rule use of rented car outside Romania is prohibited.
– In exceptional circumstances the car is allowed to leave the country but only with special permission from management and with additional costs.
7. INSURANCE
– Insurance package offered in the rental price includes: CASCO insurance, theft insurance, liability insurance RCA.
– Any special situation is clarified in the insurance application by customer service.
– CASCO insurance covers damages caused to the car except the attempted theft or theft.
– A minimum amount will be requested from the client by the insurer in case of damages. The amount of this varies depending on type of car.
– Are not compensated by this policy spare parts, covers, sheets, fuel or any other existing goods inside the vehicle and any damages resulting from the use of vehicles in connection with contests, competitions or training for those, nore the arising as a
result of entering in flooded places or by crossing rivers or roads forbidden for public circulation. Are also excluded the damages caused by manufacturing defects in materials or manufacturing of components or spare parts, damages caused by the influence of
engine’s temperature (ex: damages to the engine block, cylinder head or cooling system, following the freezing water) and those produced to the engine, gearbox or differential due to lack of lubrication or because of overheating from any other reasons than those contained in the insurance, damages due to tank’s explosion from repairs by welding.
– In case of accident is mandatory to report it to the police which will ascertain the damages and will issue a statement of the facts and the Repair Authorization. These documents are necessary for the insurance and vehicle repair. Report to the police is
mandatory in all cases: you are guilty, you are the victim, you are alone involved, the responsible party is unknown (parking damages in your absence). Without these documents the customer is responsible for all costs of repairs.
– If the client is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or not recommended medicines, payment in case of accident responsibility lies to the client entirely.
– If an accident occure the client must immediately notify the rental company on its production.
– Not announcing the accident cause immediately will conduct to the total pay the damage by the customer.
– Insurace provides protection against theft if the event is mentioned in an official document issued by police.
– Insurace covers the theft of the vehicle or parts, components and additional equipment, and damages of vehicle and/or additional equipment as a result of attempted theft.
– No damages awarded in case a document establishing the theft by the police is not available.
– No damages awarded if the client does not give the company’s car keys and original documents.
– Liability Insurance (RCA) covers the damages caused to the third parties, as a result of any event insured by car accidents.
